Ho Chi Minh City Day 1

Vietnam has always been on my To-Visit list. I managed to sneak away for a short trip last weekend. The first thing that greeted me was car horn. I wondered why the taxi driver keep horning. Then I realised that is the way of life in the busy city that’s filled with motorcyclists.

Inside a Vinasun taxi. There’s a meter, but I’m not sure how it works. The amount we paid didn’t tally with the amount shown.

The hotel we stayed at.

I had my first bowl of pho at Pho 24, which is across the street where we stayed at. The price is slightly higher than Pho 2000, but restaurant’s very clean, and the food, delicious!

Spot the little hawker stall outside this shop. Beef noodles are fried on the spot for 20,000 VND.
