1. What did you do in 2009 that you’d never done before?
Attended proper photography courses and took part in exhibition

2. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Yes. I shot more, learnt more, ran more, travelled more (than I did in 2008).

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Friends

4. Did anyone close to you die?
No and I’m thankful for that. But 2 furry friends went to Rainbow Bridge.

5. What countries did you visit?
Malaysia (again, but different parts)

6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
New lens, new body

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory?
Nil

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Improving and getting a few good shots

9. What was your biggest failure?
Succumbing to unknown forces at times

10. Did you suffer any illness? (this question has been missing since 2006)
Not really

11. What was the best thing you bought?
I bought 2 Nikon film SLRs, and a rolleiflex that is older than my dad.

Maybe it’s Yorkie’s.

The same people, plus new people

14. Where did most of your money go?
Doctors – for eyes and skin

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Taking good pictures

Nil

I am happier.

Spend more time with my family

Hmm, probably getting upset at work (not that there’s a lot of unhappiness)

Spent resting

I don’t use the phone often

Yes, with black and white photography

Hate is too strong a word. Dislike, yes.

To take better pictures

Darkroom, new lens

Someone buying my shots

Casual and comfortable

The same people

I met many new people this year. Many of whom are people who are passionate about something in life – Photography friends, people who run a lot.

Being passionate about something in life.
